High carbon steel wire

When strong forces are at work – We draw from wire rod steel wire with a carbon content of max. 0,88% with the following properties in our factory in Altena:

• Chemically descaled
• Coated prior to drawing according to your needs and technical possibilities
• Size range:  0.80 mm – 14.00 mm
• Tensile strength according to EN 10270-1, class SL, partially SM, or according to your needs depending on diameter and steel grade
• You determine the final surface:
  • phosphated
  • bright
  • copper coated
  • hot-dip galvanized (0,80 – 7,0 mm)
• On metal or wooden spools (up to max. 2.5 mm), in rings or coils
